Because it’s the last day before s-c-h-o-o-l starts after the holidays, today is go

ing to be “blogging lite.” Today’s ten are words I like the sounds of, totally apart from their meaning.

I guess pleth-ora, for its cool first syllable accent that separates the babes from the chicks in the word roll call!!!

Every time I see hippopotamus now I think of the Christmas song with the child singing that they “want a hippopotamus for Christmas . . .” It is one of those songs that is very difficult to get out of your head.
